I don't think anyone said that Pentax holds themselves out as the Apple of the photography industry, I just thought it was a clever phrase on Jon's part. I'm sure it's not 100% accurate, and maybe Cosina may fit the bill better in some ways, but it's not completely incorrect as stated, IMHO. Part of the problem with Cosina is that they're hardly thought of as a "brand" by many who aren't familiar with photography. They make bodies (and lenses?) for other companies, and they now own the Voigtlander name. Ask the average guy on the street what Cosina makes, and they'll likely have no idea. Ask that same person what Pentax makes, and there's an even chance they might know. cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson
