thanks for all the tips. I will be looking for a G3 pismo most
probably. The nice feature is the ability to use two batteries, when
one doesn't need a CD drive.
firewire is nice too, as I guess ATA drives will be phased out by SATA
drives so a bigger drive won't be an option in the future, but for the
few years more, it would do I hope.
Just for comparison, how long does it take to process an IstD raw
file, Paul?
The notebook I would like most is one of the rugged notebooks this US
maker does (PCs), but they are really expensive... :-(
