Mark, I'm in the same boat you are. I found this package: http://www.minigal.dk/ and it fits the bill for those of us who aren't web developers. You can see mine here: http://twosixteen.com/gallery/. It's quite literally a drag and drop installation. If your web host allows you to run PHP scripts, you're golden. Good luck!
