This was taken last year, shortly after I got my *ist D.
The river is very high, and has recently flooded the tow-path, though the tide is now falling. The vapour trail points to Heathrow airport.
The picture was taken straight into the sun with the maligned FAJ 18-35mm lens. No flare that I can see. It's a run-of-the-mill sunset pic, but I like the light on the paving slabs.
