These days photo sales are fairly steady, though it's a constant struggle to get the volume and quality of sales up to the level needed. It's great having a shot in a high circulation magazine (~350,000 readers) -- nevermind that probably 348,000 of those readers are not old enough to drive :-) But I'm really blown away by being in proximity to E.O. Wilson, someone whose writings have shaped much of my understanding of how natural (including human) systems work.
