Tom's actually a pretty good guy once you get past the dour expression. He's one of about 8 people I consider a good friend at the moment.
I'm honored.
dour:
1. Marked by sternness or harshness; forbidding: a dour, self-sacrificing life.
2. Silently ill-humored; gloomy: the proverbially dour New England Puritan.
3. Sternly obstinate; unyielding: a dour determination.
And thanks for pointing this out to me. I'm sure it causes untold problems in my personal life. Everyone always thinks I'm mad, or disapprove of something they've done or said, when I'm just thinking or concentrating. Then they react to my perceived irritability, accuse me falsely, and I do get mad.
Wonder if Botox'll work.
