it's more complicated than that. the portfolio is a mix of film and digital 
source and all but one or two were taken with FA or FA* lenses, mostly the 
latter. there's more than lenses at work.

I no longer own "A" series lenses but A's were designed to go after the
resolution.  Then, Pentax went back to their tradition of more subtlety in
F/FA series.
