On 5/5/05, Rick Womer, discombobulated, unleashed: >Hope you're not flying British Airways, which has a >5kg carryon weight limit and enforces it (in Philly, >anyway).
When I came back from GFM last June, I had a LowePro Stealth backpack jam-packed with gear, including a PowerBook *and* an iBook. When I checked in, I had it casually slung over one shoulder. No questions asked, nothing weighted. The LowePro Stealth is within carry-on size restriction limits, so no attention drawn. I think a lot of it is to do with demeanour. If you look like you're carrying on something heavy, then they will notice and weigh it. I had no problem and it was definitely more than 5kg. .02 Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ || (O) | People, Places, Pastiche ||=====| http://www.cottysnaps.com _____________________________
