You said local, huh? :-) There is one on a Polish auction site www.allegro.pl, the link to the auction is http://www.allegro.pl/show_item.php?item=49994881. It's "Buy it now" price is now 3190 polish zlotys (PLN) which translates to about 990USD, but the starting bid is only 2190 PLN (it's about 684USD) - and I think it can be had for that price as such expensive lenses rarely are sold here...
The item description says "in a very good condition, glass spotless, signs of use on a body (slight marks), lens in a 100% working order, with caps and an original case". The seller indicates he is willing to ship the lens to the European Union but I think it should be no problem to persuade him to send it a little bit farther. :-)
