You think so?

You need a computer.  Were I to buy a dslr, I'd have to upgrade the
computer I currently use, buy a much better printer, buy ink
cartridges, paper.  The hardware upgrades alone would at least double
the price of the body.

Film's pretty cheap at under $5 a roll.  Developing (negs only) is $6
a roll.  I only print what turns out (no snide comments! <g>).  One of
my LX bodies recently cost about $300US.  Compare that to a dslr and
all the other hidden costs, and I don't think I come out too bad...
