Yep, scanned from the neg.  Something a little warmer than usual seemed be
in order here, so greyscale was converted to RGB, which, of course, didn't
change the tonality, and then I ran a sepia-toned action designed for RGB
(as opposed to greyscale) images.  After that I desaturated the pic as the
full sepia seemed a bit strong, almost harsh. <LOL>  Sharpening was kept
local to minimize any contrast boost to the background, and then faded in
select areas so April would remain appropriately soft, although her eyes
have a slight boost compared to the rest of her face to enhance the sparkle
in her eyes.
