IAW Pentax advice: The non metered prism doesn't care (I don't own one of these, so I can't verify. The metered prism may be mounted at any time. If a lens is on the camera, unlock it, turn it to the dismount position and turn it back to mounted position to engage the "chain drive.". "Works fine. Lasts long time. Paint it green an' it won't rust."

Hi Derby, welcome to the Brotherhood, my manual is printed (thanks again William), so I can't there, but definitely get one, there are a few things you need to know; e.g. never put the prism on unless you dismount the lens, never wind the take up spool counter-clockwise, etc. etc.
Have fun with it....

Won a cheap 6x7 with a 90mm leaf shutter lens on ebay today. Impulse buy (ebay shopping with a bottle of Lakes Folly chardonnay can be risky behaviour, kids).

Does anyone have a scan of the 6x7 and leaf shutter lens manual? Neither of these seem to be available on the pentax.com site. I know that care and feeding of these beasts needs some care. Or any tips would be greatly appreciated.
