Hi Joe, don't believe the others :-) It's perfectly possible to use LS2000 under XP - friend does that. SCSI is still the standard even for newest computers, it's what used in the fastest servers out there. SCSI cards are available in PCI slots as well.
ASPI layer should work even for other than Adaptec cards. Just
download it and install it, there is an XP version. Yes, it can
sometimes be a bit fussy. If it doesn't work, there are free ASPI from
other vendors as well, IIRC.
