Terrific shot!

I have that lens (I think - did you mean Vivitar 3.8 19mm?), and it's
a fun one, that's for sure. Not overly sharp, but really good
price/fun ratio.

Anyway, like Paul, I like the low perspective. The intensity of the
woman taking a drag of the cigarette is what makes the photo. That,
plus the camera in her hand - it's all kind of surreal. Like the
glasses on the table and the geometric pattern on the ceiling.

All in all, a winner!!

Thanks for showing it to us.

cheers,

Thanks frank,
Yes, it is a typo for the lens, it is 19/3.8. Yes, it is a funky lens. It is not the sharpest lens, it is flare-prone, but I like it.

About the phottq I also like the intensity - this is what has catched me.

As I have written about a comment (http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=3347456) on my photo.net page:

"The coincidence of glasses and columns is an accident. I also prefer that they are not in line. I took 3 shots of the scene (a launch with 3 friends) and this was the last. I knew that I could arrange the glasses better but I could not catch the same feeling and composition of looks, camera, cigarette etc."

Thanks a lot for the comment frank.
