Thanks Bob. I'm not really a fan of flower shots either. But I take a lot of them in order to remember my gardens. They're also nice to have around to send to lady friends :-).

Alas, digital photographers frequently waste their time
shooting things like -- dare I say it -- flowers. Yes, I'm
embarrassed to admit it, but I shot another flower. It's a
rhododendron bud that is just about to open. It will be the
first of the big leaf rhodies in my yard. It's also one of my
favorites, because the buds are a nice shade of crimson that
fades to pink as they open. What a waste of electrons <vbg>.
