It was placed on his D or Ds - can't remember which - and I was impressed. Such a pity - to me the 77 represented the quality level I would like to see on *all* lenses made by Pentax these days.
I am quite pleased that for some of us money is no object.
I don't think it so much that money is no object but that a photograph is one.
Sadly, good lenses are expensive, and there does seem to be a disproportionate increase in cost as the quality increases.
