The Epson P-2000 I ordered arrived yesterday.
I've worked through all its functions now ... Pretty nice device. The display is excellent, download speed from the card is decent. So far all my SD cards (512M and 1G) work just fine. The latest firmware can read the Pentax *ist D and DS RAW formats, displays the EXIF info and the embedded JPEG image. You can't zoom, rotate or see a histogram with the PEF files, but it works well for my purpose: I can review what's on a card before download, do the download and then verify that what I expect has been stored.
It's a little bulky but nowhere near as bulky as the laptop I'd otherwise carry.
