well, in my opinion, the fact that the lcd on dslr does not have a live
view, unlike digicams, if quite far from being intuitive and obvious. making
anologies is at the very heart of human nature, and the analogy 
digicam lcd-> dslr lcd should seem quite straightforward. besides, even looking
through the online reviews, this is far from apparent.
so the guy is buying an mid-level dslr, so he hasn't handled one before...
so what? 

if you only look at the questions people ask on photo.net forums wrt.
hasselblads
they already own...
