It takes the Canon BP511A Lithium-Ion battery. This is an excellent battery, good for at least 350 exposures with my 10D. Buy a spare, of course ... I usually have two spares, that way I always have at least one fully charged spare in my bag.


You can get them from third party suppliers at far lower prices than Canon sells them for. I seem to recall one supplier selling them for $12 or so.

I cant seem to find the zoom in on the lcd screen
when I chimp

In Playback mode, the two buttons on the top deck/left hand side magnify the image on the LCD or toggle you back to thumbnail view.
