Rob I agree about the interface and operation of the Gimp.
As I spend a fair bit of time in Linux, I've wanted to be able to use the Gimp effectively. Unfortunately, the interface is so different to what Windows users are used to, it's just not intuitive. I guess if I spent a bit more time with it, I might grow to love it..... I haven't seen version 2 - maybe it's easier to come to grips with. For now, I'll keep my Windows 98 partition so that I can run Elements.
