I've got dozens of photos of Marabou storks by the side of Lake Awassa in Ethiopia. They are just the weirdest birds. They're about 6' (1.8m) tall, and walk around like diseased professors in a Wilt novel. They won't fly away when you approach them, although I wouldn't fancy a nip from that bill. There's a slightly nightmarish quality about them.
