Ahhh ... but it's being familiar with those technical details, knowing that the lens used will provide the appropriate "bokeh-schmockee" or is of the appropriate focal length that allows the photographer to call his shots and get the results s/he wants which gives you the chance to fully enjoy the image and the photographer's vision.
