I think I understand your concern. Well, unless you're really working at close range and critical focus was a matter of millimeters, it's not a problem. If you are working on stuff that requires precision like that, you're going to need to be on a support anyway.


As it is, I can use it to get a solid focus on something and then flip it out of the way for framing and such pretty easily.
