Godfrey Yes, one of the criteria for the camera is that it is compact and preferably has a usable optical viewfinder. The camera is to be used by various groups who have all had their say about what it will be used for. So rather than buying a camera for a photographer, it's more a camera designed by a committee - she works for the government so this happens a lot. It looks like she will buy two Canon S70's tomorrow. If Pentax made a camera that goes down to 28mm she would have bought that instead.
