That is an overly simplistic view of incident metering v reflective metering. I wouldn't even deign to call it an "article," although, probably by definition, it is. One paragraph does not an article make IMO, though.

I do however recommend incident meters for general photography. they provide for very consist exposures, because they measure the light level rather than the brightness of the object being photographed.
