I have one called FolderBurn. You can set it to overwrite files enough times that they're not recoverable to anyone (provided you have the patience - it can take a while to overwrite big files enough times). As an interesting side note, I read about a year ago about a data recovery expert who had proposed subjecting Richard Nixon's famous tape with the 18 minute gap to modern forensic technology to try to recover the audio data. It was only erased about 5 times so the recording should be recoverable if the tape itself hasn't deteriorated too much.
