Thank you ... I took the FA135/2.8 out for a walk on Tuesday along with the F100-300 as I'm trying to decide which of them to carry with me on the trip. It produced some amazing quality photos!
Of course, the F100-300 plus 2x teleconverter allowed me to snap a picture of this hawk that was hopping around the field for a while:

It was being harassed by a trio of crows and seems to be confused/ dazed for about 10 minutes, then straightened up, picked itself into the air, nabbed a field mouse and sped off.
