Hi Boris
Some more wonderful postcard shots from Mt. Pilatus and Lucerne and the four
states lake will be shown here as PESO soon.
But I have to learn to master two important things before my shots are
really enjoyable:

The 24mm A lens is really nice to take shots of large buildings like the old
wooden and
painted houses in Appenzell but to get the correct perspective is quite hard
to master for me.
Sometimes I have to aim upwards to get everything of the paintings. I found
some software
correction filter package for that problem but I have to step back to 8bit
editing to use it
and don't know yet how much that bicubic resampling of the picture lowers
the overall quality.

And as Herb mentioned, I have to learn to adjust shadows and highlights too,
something seems to get lost during the scanning process even with a quite
good scanner....

thanks for commenting Boris and continue hating and looking at my postcard
series please ;-)
Markus

>>Markus, this is terrific. I think the second shot (023 in the end of its
>>id) is the best.
