Thanks, Alin. I think the hard part will be triggering the shutter. The bats will be flying through an opening at least 3m wide and 2 high, up to more than twice that, depending on what type of barn there is on the sites. Finding a system that will trigger when something about 10cm square flies through that gap will be difficult, I think.
