Even a small bright area in the scene can bias the metering, you need to beware. The WB setting is only a flag, to set it you would either have had to use a pre- set or manual WB in conjunction with a white reference card. Since the lighting was mixed the results would never have been perfect in any case. However WB can as easily be adjusted in post processing. If using PCR grab the little dropper tool in the top left menu and click on a white/gray area (such as white shirt) until you have a WB that looks best balanced for the image.
