Not that that's a huge problem, mind you, but it does rather strike me as a shot where perhaps sharpness may be at least a consideration.
Other than that, I do like the composition, and the general idea behind it. I think a series would be a great idea! Overall, a very good shot. cheers, frank ============= Frank complaining about sharpness??? Hehehe. I think it's fairly sharp. OTOH, you may be right. OTOH, I am not sure I have my RAW conversion down yet. Lately, I have been skipping after conversion sharpening because it seems to add artifacts. And I haven't quite figured out how much to sharpen during conversion yet. I think a gallery/montage might be sort of interesting. Or I can reshoot ones that need more. Okay, I'll probably throw more up. I certainly can go back to shoot again. A local gas station has a collection of about 15 old gas pumps. The original owner died about 6 years ago, but he left the gas station to his son. A family business. Father/son liked old cars and old gas pumps. They are in the front of the station -- like a museum. They even sell postcards I found out the other day. I've been driving by it for years, gotten gas there, and been meaning to take the pumps for a long time. So I did the other day. It is the only independent "mom & pop" gas station left in our area that I know about. Later, Marnie Hmmm, sharpness.
