Absolutely. It's one more way to make a mistake, but then again it's your fault that way! I'd prefer an optional workaround with a few pitfalls to lack of options, though. Of course, I'm not a marketing droid, either but an engineer who likes being "in the trenches"... so whatever I'd like is probably not what post people would.
