It's an interesting composition that can be greatly enhanced by being
sharper and in better focus. The colors come across as a little flat, and
while an old gas pump would not be expected to be shiny, bright, and deeply
saturated, this photo is more a graphic than a depiction of an old pump, so
a somewhat bolder approach to the color may be helpful.

Where's this station with the old pumps that you mentioned?

Saranap Gas Station, Olympic Blvd., Walnut Creek. I used to be pretty
friendly with the previous owner. He used to do test runs on all the old cars I
bought before I bought them.

Thanks for the comments. I wanted, partly, to know if it was worth greater
post processing. When I have time, I'll desaturate it a bit, and work on the
sharpening a bit. I obviously still have a long way to go on RAW conversion and
post processing. Actually, I was doing better using Canon's RAW convertor, come
to think of it, than I am using Elements 3 RAW convertor. Just hit me. Sort
of interesting.

Thanks for commenting, Shel.
