just how many dead ends can you name since the advent of digital (last
10 years)?

bronica and contax. any other?

mind you, bronica was a purely MF system with no digital path whatsoever
(unlike pentax with 2(!) digital slr bodies). and contax -- they did the "canon 
lensmount trick" at a very wrong time and their dslr was a flop. 

i have no idea where that"much more than they used to" has come from.
