So why the subject line?  So they filed for insolvency.  Big deal. 
Companies do this when they hit hard times and need to restructure. 
Corporations don't like to die, and many actually come out of
situations like this in pretty decent shape.  We'll probably see a
much modified product offering.  I'm sure somebody's favorite film
will be discontinued.  But I wouldn't count them out just yet.  e.g. 
Mandrake, now Mandriva, a French Linux distributor.
