In the US we call that the One pound Sledge [hammer is implied]. One of

Lump hammer? Is that what we call a sledgehammer over here, from the
"get a bigger hammer" school of auto mechanics?
It's a sledge's little brother. Larger than any normal carpentry hammer,
with a head shaped like an two-thirds scale sledgehammer head, and a
handle that's less than a foot long. Basically, the most hammer that's any
good in one hand to the average bloke. Used only for breaking things, and
otherwise applying brute force.
