I posted some images shot with the Optio S at http://groups.msn.com/CesarsPhotography/memorialdayweekend.msnw I at least waited until some of you were already into your weekend before posting this message :-)

There is a picnic at the park and boating on a lake planned for the weekend. I have my *ist D, 645n, and 67 at the ready. I may have some time to post some images along the way.

Figuring I have to add to the list traffic somehow, now to catch up with the list,

You need to take more than the Optio S with you. :-)

My reaction to the beach shots is -- that it is a spectacularly uninteresting beach. No great color, no clouds, no big waves, no driftwood, no umbrellas -- just flat water and flat sand. Sorry.
Marnie aka Doe :-) So ready to sell me the Optio now??? Hehehe.

For me, those shots all look sort of "muddy." I don't know what else to call it, to make it more plain. Even tho' I see good shadows, which indicates the sun was out full force, the images show no "brightness."
Puzzling, and difficult to explain.
