Collin,

I think you'll find it will be a pointless exercise. Apart from the 
impracticably (I assume that you would have to teach the camera the currently 
mounted lens as there is no way of electronically identifying a old lens) if 
they really wanted to allow operation with older lenses they would have 
furnished the bodies with an aperture feedback sensor.
