I would NEVER buy this:
The question is: What will be done next to simplify it even further?
1. Remove all unnecessary hardware (if there is any left to remove) and
modify the firmware so that it will only work with digital or FA lenses.
This would FORCE anyone who had older lenses to purchase new ones.
2. Remove the manual exposure modes. Swap for more auto pic modes.
I hate the auto modes. In general I find the icons confusing and wouldn't
like a camera w/o the ability to go totally manual.
3. Remove the video output, making it just USB. Maybe remove that as
well. Who uses it anyway? We've all got card readers.
Me, on a daily use basis I find it far easier to transfer images using the
USB cable. The only time I might use a card reader is if I had to swap out
cards.
Anyway, that's my opinions...
