Me neither (the optics are very simple), but sometimes when metering
right next to a bright light source, the readin is affected.

Do you mean Pentax no longer sells the Digi meter? Or the Zonve VI
one? The Zone VI mod was done by an independent company, as far as I
know (and yes, it seems they no longer exist).
