Cesar Matamoros: 1. attempted to weasel out of paying for his numerous transgressions by writing:
"...I actually got back into town late Sunday night. I subscribed at that point - oh, did I forget to subscribe directly to the list ? :-) - so as to not miss out on reports from others returning from the NPW. I actually did not want to be slandered and not know about it :-)" Truth ain't slander bud. Your high crimes and misdemeanors will follow you until the end of your days. "William 'Wheatfield Willie' Robb was this year's version of the gentle giant." It was a great pleasure to meet Bill (the Enforcer)Robb. Not only is he a great guy, he was the key facilitator in limiting the chaos Frank Theriault was creating. I (sort of) wish I had a chance to try that 15mm. If I had, I'd be dying for one so I guess it's better that I didn't. "Dave Brooks - how he put up with Frank for such a long trip... :-)" One does wonder. I give Dave all the credit in the world. His good nature is apparently only exceeded by his high tolerance for pain. "Frank Theriault - You should be seeing some of his shots shortly..." I hope he has the good sense (yeah right) to dispose of most of those shots. "Ann Sanfedele - always entertaining..." She is indeed. I hope she didn't lose her luggage on the way home. "Bill & Phyllis Owens - unbelievably gracious having to put up with our motley crew. PDML Central is legendary." I don't know how they put up with the crowd of vagrants, malcontents and ne'er do wells who took up residence in their front yard. A lesser couple would have made good use of large caliber firearms. "Doug Brewer - as the list god I will say no more :-) He is the brother I never wanted ;-P" "Mark Roberts - just as punny in person, and yes his photography is that good! Chosen as the 'Mad Man of the Mountain'..." Those two have a future on the Comedy Channel. "Ken & French Waller (and brother-in-law, Bob)" thanks to Ken (the Troublemaker) Waller, I now lust after an FA 600/4. "Chris & Penny Braswell - lurker extraordinaire. An excellent photographer that not only took Best In Show, but I believe a first and a third place??? And boy, does he know us all :-) Amazing how he keeps up with the list..." I think his first name is Charles but the error serves him right for not posting. He is indeed a terrific photographer. It's really spooky the way he knew everyone. I hereby nominate him for the title 'Official PDML Stalker'. "Nico R..." Another gentleman in danger of being corrupted by those of lesser character. "Norm Baugher..." I don't have the words to describe Norm. He is the only person I ever met who reminded me of Robin Williams. "Don Nelson - 'southern gentleman' personified." Don did a terrific job putting the weekend together. His only fault is that he trusts the wrong people. His obvious error in delegating gatekeeping duty to C. (Rip Van Winkle) M. is the only blemish on an otherwise sterling performance. Tom Reese
