Are the early Takumars and Auto Taks uncoated, or perhaps just single coated on the surface of exposed elements? I didn't see mention of that in the articles I read.Shel
Single coated. Back then, in pre-SMC times, the Rokkor lenses were better coated (with an "achromatic" double-coating).
But were the Takumar lenses coated inside the doublets, who can answer that? Andre
