It was taken at 1/500s so it's not blurred. I'm sure there is nothing wrong with the camera as crops of my 70-210 4.0 and 35-105 3.5 are just perfect. Is it that "recent" Pentax zooms are not very good wide open? I read good things about the FA SMC 28-70 4.0 lens, is there something wrong with mine? This crops have 8 times the pixel density of a laptop screen, it would hardly be noticeable on the whole image zoomed to fit the screen or in small prints.
