Yesterday my special order arrived from Pentax: the LL-60 divided matte
focusing screen for the *ist D/DS.
Anyone know if there's the possibility of putting a split-circle
MF-aid in a -DS? The documentation on the 'net of available screens loses
something in the translation sometimes to make it sound like it's
available. I'm pretty sure it's not.
... does anyone else make one, or is there a technical reason why
it can't be put on there? Does it screw with the AF or metering? I sure
do miss it for proper manual focusing.
