Normally, market demand drives prices. When it comes to eBay, ignorance and dumbasses who bid without any intention of ever completing the purchase seem have more effect.
I wouldn't take an eBay price as market value. I've seen too much stuff sell there for way more than I could get it from KEH, Adorama or B&H.
