I like your other shot at Moses Cone Park a lot
more Dave... that one is just about perfect.
The bridge shot doesn't work for me because it
doesn't give you the sense of the bridge being
high and
from a purely technical aspect and this may be
partly my monitor, with so much contrast between
the
light at the top and the dark at the bottom you
are drawn away from the detail... again -  I have
a problem with my eyes that might contribute to
this...

How about saving it as tiff.. closing it and
opening the tiff and saving it from tiff to jpg? 
Just a guess and you may have tried that already
har - I'm not good at this stuff at all
