Slightly inaccurate spot metering is a small price to pay: automatic metering is in many situations inaccurate and you'd better check critical photos exposure with the histogram and/or hotspot warning. ...and don't be afraid to change it, it's easy. The only downside to this is that Ebay prices for K, M and A lenses will definitely rise and I haven't bought all that I want yet.
