Fact is they use blank screens (and a couple other things) provided by
Pentax. But Pentax doesn't seem very speedy on this at all and they
are still waiting for things.
In any case, nothing before september.

It's not just the maximum aperture, but it would also be broken for stop-down metering with the aperture set to >3.5.

If spot is slightly off, fine. If it makes center-weighted slightly off, fine. If it goes completely bogus when the split screen goes opaque, it's a bit more of a problem.
