Hi!
Both versions of the Sea of Galilee look a bit oversharpened to me. That may be the main problem with them, because the composition is very nice and pleasing to my eye.
Fascinating. The sharpening is really minimal... I don't trust SMCP 28-70/4 AL to be *that* sharp...
Then for some nitpicking... :-)
Oh, be my guest...
The colour version has a lot of punch, and maybe "too much of a good thing" spoils it a bit. The sepia version is a bit too contrasty, i think. The haze over the water looks much thicker, and the trees on the shoreline are like little silhouettes.
That did not occur to me... There is this usual difficulty when one looks at color image and then at once at b/w image... I suppose I overdid the contrast on b/w image...
In both versions, I think the surf looks a bit too bright compared to the clouds.
Har! I've used that pol filter you used to have :-)... Most recently I've been playing with various types of tonal curves, so perhaps I spoiled it somehow...
The Madonna photo was very, very delicate. Really one to my liking! :-)
Cool. I'm reminded of your shot of Ellen during that trip to Jerusalem... Cheers! Boris
