Did so much happen this month, *istDl, GFM etc, that we forgot, or did I just miss the comments?
I dont know, but I guess its my turn now anyway....

------

"New Hampshire Lake" by Rick Womer
Nice mood, I like the light and the boat on the right. Maybe Id removed the post on the top in PS, but it doesnt bother me much.

"Aurora Borealis" by Jane Kld
Fine Aurora, I like the roof and the details in the trees. Often such photos have large dark backgrounds. If you get the chance, try with a shorter exposure and larger aperture, then you get more details and structure in the aurora.

"Start of a U. P. Night" by Kenneth Waller
Actually, Im not very fond of sunsets, but the colours and the reflection are nice...

"Emerald Arc" by Thomas Cakalic
As with the other aurora Id prefer a shorter exposure to get more detail in the aurora (try ISO400), but the picture is nice.

"Good Nite Mr Moon" by Gonz
I like the crop and the colours of the moon, but youve got some noise/USM artifacts/ etc that makes a structure in the surface.

"Clearing thunderstorm" by Martin Albrecht
Great combination of lightning, clouds, stars, moon(?) and artificial light. Perfect night picture.

"Paris Las Vegas" by Francis M. Alviar
This composition has too many unrelated elements for me. Id try to concentrate on one of the buildings and avoid the trees etc in the foreground.

"Prague Castle at night" by Dan Matyola
I love Prague, but in this picture all the buildings and bridges below the castle are without other detail than random lights. I think it would have been better with a large black sky above and the castle at the bottom, as the city does not add anything here. Or even better, you should have been there a little bit earlier, before all of the light left the sky.

"Tour Eiffel from Trocadero" by Joseph Tainter
Classic picture from Paris. The noise/grains from the crop bothers me a bit and I think it would have been better if you were there earlier, while there was still some light in the sky.

"Spanish Quarters" by Gianfranco Irlanda
Funny, I like this. I like the line the out of focus lights make.

"Queen Street Car, 3:30am" by Frank Theriault
Another funny picture that I like because it is unexpected. First I look for some person, but the I only see lines and light, and then I sense the mood of taking the bus home late at night. The "blob" of lights at the right looks like a partially fisted hand stretching upward.

"Giant Flamingos" by Peter J. Alling
Exposure and flamingos are great, but Id crop out the green light on the left.

"Promo on a saturday night" by Csar A, Matamoros II
Messy, lots of things happening but I still find Im looking at the girls .-) I dont think the right part of the picture does much, but a little more light there could help.

"Stairway to..." by Arnie
Nice light, nice colours, but I do miss a person. Its not empty enough to empty without one, like Franks picture.

"Thriller" by John Francis
Id like to see more of the person passing in front of the picture. The background is OK

"Rue Ravignan" by Alin Flaider
I miss the warm summer nights. We still havent had one day above 20C in Oslo this year... I like the mood, it really reminds me of the relaxed warm nights...

"A couple in the night" by Matjaz Osojnik
Great! Everything tells part of some story. The couple, the pregnant lady, the children on the sign, maybe even the car. Youve got three stages of life in one picture. Composition is great too, and her expression.

"Summer sleep" by me
OK, revenge is yours...

"Homewards - the kitchen view" by Markus Maurer
Strange. The flowers, the distribution of windows, the faint details on top. I like it.

"Old town, Albuquerque" by Ann Sanfedele
Im not completely convinced. I see the repetition in the sign on the door and the light on the right, the lines and the shadows. A quiet scene. A think I like it.

"No tears for the creatures of the night" by Luben Karavelov
Beautiful scene, a little mystery.

"El Hammamat" by John Coyle
Even if it is a night scene Id like a little more light, especially on the only person we see. Apart from that I think youve caught the mood pretty well.

"Ancient Khmer Stupa" by Thawatchai Kongsaktragool
Hmmmm, reminds me of Prambanan on Jawa... I miss something in the picture, some person or detail to focus on. Now my eyes are drawn to the small open door. Id love to see a person there.

"Peace moment" by A.R.
Even if Im not very fond of this type of pictures this is good.

"Graduation day" by Collin Brendemuehl
OK picture of the guy, but Id like to see more, or less of the person in front.

OK, I hope I havent offended to many of you .-)
